MYM.fans Explained: How It Works, Fees and Payouts

The short answer: MYM (mym.fans) is a French creator-subscription platform run by AIR MEDIAS SAS in Paris. Fans subscribe to a creator monthly or for six months, buy private and "push" media, tip, and pay for live shows. Creators keep what is left after two deductions: bank fees of 3.5% or 7% of the amount the fan paid (7% for adult accounts), then MYM's royalty of 25% on subscriptions or 20% on media, lives and tips. Earnings are released after 7 to 60 days, and you can withdraw once you have at least €50 validated.
Searches for MYM are mostly practical: how the app works, how to sign up, how to delete an account, what creators earn. Everything below comes from MYM's creator terms of service (Conditions Générales de Service), version dated 24 July 2025, read in the original French on 23 October 2026 and translated by us. Where this guide and the terms differ, the terms win.
Who runs MYM
According to the terms' preamble, the platform at mym.fans is published and operated by AIR MEDIAS, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS) registered in Lyon under number 809 565 906, with its head office at 10 rue de Penthièvre, 75008 Paris. The creator terms are the contract a creator accepts on registration. They are written in French, which matters if you are signing up from elsewhere: read them with a translation tool before you publish anything.
How MYM works for fans
The terms describe four ways a fan pays a creator:
- Subscription (Abonnement). Access to one creator's non-public media, renewed monthly or every six months. The terms list what a subscription includes: viewing non-public media, requesting private media, buying push media, receiving live invitations and buying live tickets. Each subscription covers only the creator you subscribed to.
- Private media (Médias Privés). Content a subscriber requests from a creator to a specification. The creator can refuse, ignore, or quote a price.
- Push media (Médias Push). Media a creator offers unprompted to one or more users through private messages.
- Lives and tips. Live broadcasts can be free or ticketed, and tips are amounts a fan pays at their own discretion with nothing directly in return.
Before subscribing, the terms ask users to read the creator's subscription conditions: the price, and whether renewal is monthly or six-monthly. That renewal period is the first thing to check on any profile. If you are new to subscription billing on adult platforms, how adult subscriptions appear on your bank statement and how to cancel an adult subscription cover the parts every platform shares.
The terms also give users a content control: you can untick "Découvrir les contenus réservés aux adultes" in your account settings to stop seeing adult-only content in the feed.
What MYM takes: the fee table
MYM's cut comes in two layers, and the order matters.
Layer 1, bank fees. The terms set bank fees at 3.5% or 7% of the transaction amount including taxes, depending on risk. Accounts classed as "High Risk", which the terms define as including adult or "sexy" content, pay 7%. Low-risk accounts pay 3.5%.
Layer 2, MYM's royalty (Redevance). Calculated on the price excluding tax, minus the bank fees:
| Type of earning | Standard creator | SuperStar creator |
|---|---|---|
| Subscriptions | 25% | 24% |
| Private media and push media | 20% | 19% |
| Lives | 20% | 19% |
| Tips | 20% | 19% |
The terms' own worked example
The terms give this example for a creator and fan both in France, a €100 media sale, 7% bank fees and a 20% royalty:
- The fan pays €100 plus 20% VAT, so €120.
- Bank fees are 7% of €120, so €8.40.
- The creator's earning is (€100 − €8.40) × 80% = €73.28.
So on an adult account, roughly 73% of the pre-VAT price reaches the creator on a media sale, and less on subscriptions, where the royalty is 25%. How that compares with other platforms' published splits is covered in OnlyFans vs ManyVids vs FanCentro and Fansly vs OnlyFans.
Promo codes
If MYM issues a promo code, the discount comes out of MYM's royalty, not the creator's earnings. If the creator issues one, they set the amount, the number of uses, the eligible media and how long it lasts, and the bank fees and royalty are calculated on the discounted price.
When creators get paid
Earnings sit as "pending" before they are validated. The terms give these typical validation periods, counted from the fan's payment and subject to release by the payment provider:
| Earning | Validated after |
|---|---|
| Private media, push media, live tickets and tips | 7 days |
| Monthly subscription | 15 days |
| Six-month subscription | 60 days |
To withdraw, a creator needs a certified account, a payout method on file, at least €50 (or the equivalent in another currency) of validated earnings, any KYC checks the payment provider asks for and, for professional accounts, a valid invoice. The terms also allow the payment provider to block funds linked to a dispute or fraud.
Refunds and chargebacks
The terms say MYM may refund a subscriber if a private media is delivered late or does not match what was requested. MYM says it will try to reach an amicable solution first, but can decide on a refund itself. When a transaction is flagged as fraudulent or refunded, MYM takes neither bank fees nor its royalty on the refunded amount. MYM carries the fraud risk only up to 1% of the creator's total turnover on the platform; beyond that, the creator bears the consequences of fraud and refunds, even when MYM decided them. How other platforms split the same risk is explained in creator platform chargebacks and holds.
Signing up as a creator: certification
A creator must be an adult with full legal capacity, or a registered company acting through an authorised representative. To be listed, the account must be certified. The terms list the requirements:
- At least three media published on the account.
- Correct, current contact details.
- A mobile number confirmed by SMS code.
- An identity document and a security selfie.
- For businesses, a registration certificate and an EU VAT number where applicable.
The terms state that identity details are processed and authenticated with an AI system to reduce the risk of forgery. Treat the ID step like any other adult-platform verification: the advice in two-factor authentication methods and what happens to your data when an adult site shuts down applies.
SuperStar status
The one-point royalty discount comes with SuperStar status. Per the terms, a creator needs to log in regularly, have a certified account, keep at least 50 active users through the month, post at least two media to the feed each week, and answer and deliver private media within 48 hours on average.
Referrals
MYM runs a referral scheme: an "Ambassador" earns 10% of the validated earnings of a creator they referred, for 24 months from that creator's account creation.
Inactive and suspended accounts
Under the terms, MYM may delete a creator account after more than 18 months of inactivity, and an account suspended for an unresolved breach for more than 18 months. If you are leaving, withdraw validated earnings first, since the withdrawal conditions above still apply. Where to take an audience next is covered in where adult creators can promote.
Who MYM suits
Creators with a French or European audience that already knows the brand, who are comfortable with a French-language contract and euro thresholds. Creators who sell custom content, since private media requests are built into the subscription. It is a weaker fit if you need terms in English, or if a 25% subscription royalty plus 7% bank fees is more than you pay elsewhere; compare it in the best platforms for adult content creators.
Figures are quoted from MYM's creator terms of service (version of 24 July 2025) as read on 23 October 2026, translated from French. Fees, thresholds and features change without notice; MYM's own current terms are the authority. 18+ only.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does MYM take from creators?
Two deductions, per MYM's creator terms dated 24 July 2025. First, bank fees of 7% of the amount paid including tax for High Risk accounts, which include adult content, or 3.5% for low-risk accounts. Then MYM's royalty: 25% on subscriptions and 20% on private media, push media, lives and tips, or one point less for SuperStar creators.
When can I withdraw my MYM earnings?
Earnings are validated after 7 days for media, live tickets and tips, 15 days for monthly subscriptions and 60 days for six-month subscriptions. You can withdraw once you have at least €50 validated, a certified account, a payout method on file and any KYC checks the payment provider requires.
What do I need to get certified on MYM?
The terms list at least three published media, correct contact details, a mobile number confirmed by SMS, an identity document and a security selfie. Businesses also provide a registration certificate and an EU VAT number where applicable.
Does one MYM subscription cover every creator?
No. A subscription only covers the creator you subscribed to. It includes their non-public media and the right to request private media, buy push media and attend their lives, renewed monthly or every six months as the creator sets.
Can I hide adult content on MYM?
Yes. MYM's terms say users can untick the option to discover adult-only content in their account settings, which stops it appearing in the feed.
